Radial Entertainment Acquires U.S. Distribution Rights To Jeff Renfroe’s New Horror Thriller “The Pond” Starring Isabelle Fuhrman, Douglas Smith, And Gil Bellows

Radial Entertainment, the newly formed global entertainment company, has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to THE POND from Myriad Pictures. Directed by Jeff Renfroe (The Colony, Chucky TV series, Rogue) and from a screenplay by Ben Brooks and Renfroe, Isabelle Fuhrman (The Hunger Games, Orphan), Douglas Smith (Big Little Lies, Don’t Worry Darling) and Gil Bellows (Patriot, The Shawshank Redemption) lead a talented cast of Tattiawna Jones (Murderbot, The Nest), Brandon McKnight (The Flash, The Shape of Water), and Jack Dylan Greig (Dark Side of the Ring). 
 
THE POND tells the story of a group of life-long friends who travel to a remote lake house to celebrate their terminally ill friend, but they are horrified when they discover she's become a vessel for a predatory parasite that threatens to infect the entire group. Jake (Douglas Smith) and his wife Hope (Isabelle Fuhrman), who has recently fallen ill, have been in constant misery since the death of their son Raymond. Wrecked with the guilt of feeling that Raymond’s death was Jake’s fault, she has never managed to forgive him and finds the burden too much to bear. When Hope, believed to have drowned in the pond, mysteriously returns, the retreat descends into a waking nightmare as an insidious parasite takes hold and sinks them into a terror where the boundaries of love, guilt, and survival blur.
 
Myriad Pictures and Photon Films present a Fella Films Production in association with Myriad Pictures and BondIt Media Capital. THE POND is produced by Thomas Michael. Radial Entertainment has secured exclusive distribution rights to THE POND in the U.S., including theatrical, home entertainment rights (digital, video-on-demand, broadcast, linear streaming, and physical media), and ancillary rights for cross-platform releases.
