Julie Dansker And Daniel Gagliardi Named Co-Heads Of Sales, Distribution & Strategy And Executive Vice Presidents At Radial Entertainment

Radial Entertainment, a newly formed global entertainment company managing the FilmRise and Shout! Studios brands, has announced the appointment of top sales and distribution leaders. Julie Dansker has been named Co-Head of Sales, Distribution & Strategy and Executive Vice President of Global Licensing and International Distribution. Daniel Gagliardi has been named Co-Head of Sales, Distribution & Strategy and Executive Vice President of North American Digital Distribution. The announcement was made by Radial Entertainment Chief Revenue and Strategy Officer Johnny Holden to whom they report. 

These appointments take effect immediately at a pivotal time for Radial Entertainment and its brands as they scale their premium content offerings worldwide and further strengthen their strategic partnerships and co-productions across all territories.

As Co-Head of Sales, Distribution & Strategy, Julie Dansker is responsible for leading international distribution, TVOD, and global licensing. Dansker will lead sales efforts to expand the company’s footprint of international FAST and AVOD partners and oversee global expansion platform partnerships in new markets. She will also continue to drive revenue generation across global licensing and worldwide transactional distribution of Radial’s extensive film and television library.

Dansker previously served as SVP of Streaming & Content Strategy at Shout! Studios. She oversaw the licensing and streaming sales team, directing the streaming and content distribution strategies for the company. She drove monetization for all film and series content across global SVOD, AVOD channel partners, and broadcasters, executing licensing deals, managing a portfolio of AVOD channel partners, and pitching and launching FAST channels. Dansker also collaborated with the acquisitions team to identify and acquire high-quality new releases and is part of Shout! Studios’ original team developing original content across television, feature films, and podcasts, actively pitching and setting up original productions. Recent films include the award-winning Shout! original film Old Henry starring Tim Blake Nelson and the critically acclaimed film The Dead Don’t Hurt by Viggo Mortensen and starring Mortensen and Vicky Krieps.

Daniel Gagliardi, Co-Head of Sales, Distribution & Strategy and Executive Vice President of North American Digital Distribution

As Co-Head of Sales, Distribution & Strategy, Gagliardi oversees licensing to North American digital platforms, programming & distributing 98 O&O FAST channels to 750+ endpoints, and distributing dozens of Radial O&O apps globally. His role also includes managing monetization of Radial-controlled advertising inventory.

Gagliardi previously served as EVP of Global Streaming Distribution and Strategy at FilmRise, overseeing the company’s AVOD, SVOD and FAST partnerships and award-winning FAST channels. Prior to joining FilmRise, Gagliardi was Head of Content at VUDU (now Fandango at Home), where he was responsible for building and leading the content partnerships team, including commissioning the service’s first original productions. Prior to VUDU he served as VP of Worldwide Television and Digital Distribution for Lionsgate, where he oversaw content licensing to digital services. In that role he forged significant industry-first deals in the AVOD space with platforms such as Tubi, Pluto TV, Roku, and Amazon, YouTube and Hulu, among others.
